Madeline’s Mission hopes to make sure that in the event of the loss of a child, that child’s loved ones can have access to final keepsakes in memory of their loved one.
Why are kits needed?
Kits will provide final keepsakes to the bereaved family of a child that they will treasure forever. By providing kits to funeral homes, it ensures that any family can get these priceless keepsakes during the window of opportunity immediately following a loss. The kits are provided at no cost to the family.
What’s in a kit?
In each kit, there are:
Canvases, paint and paintbrushes for hand/ footprints
Baby wipes for clean-up
Clay molds for hand prints
Fingerprint jewelry kits
A recycled canvas tote bag and brochure from Madeline’s Mission

Would you like to sponsor a bereavement kit in honor or memory of someone, or through your business?
Each kit is provided to the funeral homes and families free of charge. In order to make sure all bereaved families can receive this keepsake, we rely heavily on the support of sponsors. Each sponsor will be recognized on the plastic tote containing the kit, on our website, and on our social media for the duration of their sponsorship. Because kits need to be refilled after every loss, sponsorships are renewed annually to help cover the costs of additional supplies. Families, individuals or businesses are welcomed to sponsor a kit or may do so in memory of a loved one.
The cost to sponsor one kit for one year is $150.
